The Power Applied R&D 2023 is the conference of the year for all power industry stakeholders. The unique in-person event is hosted by ASME’S power division. The conference is meant to attract the world’s leading academic and technical researchers as well as energy application centers. Our mission is to showcase the newest research in the emerging generation technologies and encourage collaboration between industry researchers and the government. The Power Applied R&D 2023 is a content-driven conference. All accepted papers will be reviewed and sessions designed to showcase their relevance to the various aspects of new generation technologies. Attendees will have the opportunity to discuss and present ideas on the exploration of technologies applicable to the reliable, economically-viable electricity generation. The conference will run from the 6th to 9th of August 2023. The CEO of Siemens Avanta North America; Rani Shea is the opening keynote at the event.
All power generation professionals are welcome to submit an abstract. The deadline for submitting an abstract is the 16th December 2022. They have a tutorial on how to submit an abstract. If your abstract is accepted, you will receive a notification on the 19th December. You will need to login with ASME to complete the submission or access the reviewing panel.

The conference will be held at the Hilton Long Beach hotel in Long Beach California. You can get accommodation in the same hotel at a reasonable rate if you book before 14th July 2023. The airports in proximity to the hotel include John Wayne airport, Long Beach airport, and Los Angeles international airport. You can use a taxicab, shuttle, or a ride sharing service from the airport to get to the hotel.
